Gym is life.
Most people don’t understand our lifestyle and that’s fine, but they should also know that we don’t give a fuck what they think.
Here’s 7 things we lifters deal with every day and that we should never EVER apologise for.
1. How much money you spend on food, supplements and gym wear.
Tell them to shut the fuck up. Is the rent paid, are the lights on, then it’s time for them to mind their own damn business. There’s a reason you look like a million dollars, the million dollars you’ve spent on food, supplements and gym clothes!
2. Posting pictures of yourself and your meals all day every day.
Post that shit! Some people won’t like it, but there’s 10 times more people who fucking love it, especially me if you’re wearing FKN Gym Wear!
3. People asking how many sets you have left.
As many as you damn well like. It’s not your problem they were late.
4. How often you go to the gym.
Go to the gym 12 times a day if you want! I’ve personally missed 5 weddings, a funeral and 2 births because they conflicted with my training schedule. “Are you going to the gym again?” is actually the last thing three ex girlfriends have asked me.
5. Not talking to anyone at the gym.
People at the gym might think you’re just a quiet person but little do they know, you just don’t care about or have the time to hear their bullshit stories about their asshole girlfriend or boyfriend.
6. Looking at yourself in the mirror all the time.
If they didn’t want us to look in the mirror, then why do gyms have entire walls made of mirror??
7. Being sore
Tell everyone how much pain you’re in. You should be limping at least five days a week! Frankly, if someone tells me how great they’re feeling, then I know I’m working harder than they are and that makes me a better human being…certainly more fucking shredded.
We don’t have time for bullshit when gains are on the line fam.
Get in, get it done and get out.
What do you guys think? Comment below if you’ve heard any of these before, what do you do or say when people decide that they know what’s best for you?
